Artist's Description

This photo was taken at the US 52/SC261 bridge in Kingstree, South Carolina, during the October 2015 flood. Kingstree received over 24 inches of rain in three days, causing the Black River to rise to a record high of 22.65 feet. The river floods at 12 feet.
